How to Root and Unlock Bootloader on Asus Zenfone 2

Unlocking the bootloader on Asus Zenfone 2 is one of the known requirement for achieving root access on your smartphone,
and it’s also important in terms of custom rom installation

Before you can unlock the bootloader of your Asus Zenfone 2, you must have a windows PC to run some commands, and I strictly advise that this process can be only done on Asus Zenfone 2, so if you try on any other android device outside this, then you’re OYO (on your own).

Before you begin
-          Back up the files on your Asus Zenfone 2
-          Download Asus Zenfone 2 USB Drivers for windows PC
-          Enable USB debugging on your smartphone, go to settings >> developers option. If developer’s option isn’t visible on your Huawei device, simply go to about phone under settings and scroll down to build number, then tap build number up to 7 times to make developers option visible.
